Public Art Archive
The Public Art Archive is a free online database of public artworks in the United States. The project is working to unite records from public art organizations and artists into one comprehensive resource. The Rowan University Public Art Project has integrated Rowan’s public artworks into this resource. We are also working to add additional New Jersey public artworks.
Association of Public Art
The APA was established in 1872 and is the nation’s first private, nonprofit civic organization dedicated to creating a “museum without walls” by integrating public art and urban design. The organization sets out to commission, preserve, interpret, and promote public art in Philadelphia.
Public Art Dialogue
The PAD was founded on the premise that dialogue is the essential element in all effective public art endeavors. The organization’s goal is to provide platforms for dialogue among public art professionals and students across disciplines.
Public Arts Network
This resource is a program of the Americans for Public Artist organization, a group dedicated to advancing public art. They provide a wide variety of professional services for individuals interested in exploring the field of public art.
Rowan University Art Gallery
Rowan University Art Gallery serves as a premier cultural destination for South Jersey, the Rowan community, and the surrounding region. The mission is to provide a platform for discourse on best practices in contemporary art by professional artists, curators, and scholars through the presentation of interdisciplinary art exhibitions, panel discussions, guest curatorial projects, and other public programming.
