Keith Jones

Keith Jones PhotoKeith R. Jones, a Welsch-born New Brunswick, New Jersey resident, is a painter who specializes in realism. In addition to his works’ aesthetic quality, Jones’ artistry reflects his commitment to preserving the environment through his craft. His paintings capture the beauty of the unspoiled landscape and are poignant in light of the constant threats to our natural and ecological environment. Therefore, it is fitting that this mural was completed during a three-year education plan proposed by the Pinelands Commission in 1983 to “promote public awareness of the Pinelands’ natural and cultural significance.”

Jones is an artist member of the Society of Illustrators, Artists Equity Association Inc., Artists League of Central New Jersey, and an associate member of the New Jersey Watercolor Society. Jones’s work is in the collection of the Bealte City Exhibition Centre, Liverpool, United Kingdom; New Jersey State Council of the Arts, and Rutgers Law School, Newark.
